FESTIVAL
The international Main Guitar Festival starts in summer 2020 in the towns of Sommerhausen, Ochsenfurt, Marktbreit, Sulzfeld, and Obernbreit.

Beautiful franconian renaissance city halls, the St. Bartholomew's Church in Sommerhausen, the Michaels-chapel in Ochsenfurt, and the former synagogue in Obernbreit are the stunning backdrop for all concerts spread throughout different locations nearby in the Main-river-valley. The concerts will be an unprecedented access to the most celebrated musicians making their way from England, Spain, Bosnia, Sweden, and the United States.
COVID19 Update
Unfortunately, we have to announce the cancellation of the concert of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet due to the Corona Pandemic. The show on July 29, 2020, in Sommerhausen, will be postponed to August 6, 2021.
The tickets remain valid. Alternatively, we will take care of refunding your tickets. We are working on a hygiene concept (e.g., reducing the number of seats), which will allow us to hold the remaining concerts. We will keep you up to date!
WORKSHOPS
The festival artists will have master classes and seminars for you to attend to or to taking part actively. The classes are an exceptional opportunity to learn and communicate with the most esteemed guitarists and musicians in the business and to swap views, techniques and ideas.

The members of the "Association of the International Main Guitar Festival" intend to enrich local cultural life by organizing the " International Main Guitar Festival." They want to share their love for guitar music and wish to build a network with guitar-enthusiasts around the world.
