Association of the International Main Guitar Festival e. V.
We are committed to making the art of guitar playing known to a broad audience. The spectrum ranges from historically informed performance with vihuela and lute over the classical guitar to jazz, flamenco, Brazil, and world music. The association organizes concerts, workshops, lectures as well as collaborations with the two key regional academic institutes, the "Hochschule für Musik Würzburg" and the "Sing- und Musikschule Würzburg."
Our forum is a melting pot for international celebrities, artists and students from all different varieties exchanging their experience and ideas.
The association provides excellent conditions for artists and audiences by incorporating beautiful historical venues for our concerts.
